Dear Expectant Mother and Family,
Given the chance to be adoptive parents to the life we pray you cast upon us, he or she will grow up always knowing how we came to be a family. We will tell the story of how we were blessed with parenthood by the Grace of strength and courage. That the greatest kind of unselfish love brought three kinds of loves together to give a life of love, support, opportunity, laughter and gratitude.
Respectfully and with Love,
Kimberly and Michael
We are Kimberly and Michael. We recently moved into our dream home in a beach town, on a dead end street, across from a park, with playgrounds, basketball courts, and walking trails. We can hear the laughter of the many young families and enjoy the nature of all seasons. We are home study approved and excited to be first time parents.
Michael and I met after months of seeing each other in the gym and local events in our community. A mutual friend was helping my girlfriend move into my house and we needed some extra man power. I decided to make the first move and boldly ask for his help with a promise of home cooked meatballs. My grandma always said a way to a man’s heart is through his stomach! I later learned when given my phone number it was stored as “Future Wife”.
Fast forward three years, outside of church he pulled up in a new car and said “check out the inside.” I opened the door to find the cutest sweetest puppy you could imagine (well you won’t have to because there will be pics). I picked her up and cuddled her, I asked her name while spinning her collar to read the tag. Guess what! In place of a tag was a ring. I look up to find Michael on one knee <3
We truly compliment each other, he keeps me grounded and I keep him on his toes. We inspire each other to take on our goals with confidence, and make sure we keep a spirit of gratitude each day. I love his imperfections and he returns the same patient love.
Deep down I always knew I would adopt. When I was about 11 or 12 years old I begged my mother to sponsor a child from an underdeveloped country. They sent you a letter and a picture of the child and kept you updated on how your sponsorship was helping with food, vaccines, school. From that time I said I would have one biological child and one adopted. Having a biological child did not work out for us but we know God has a bigger plan.
Michael and I are both dedicated to helping others. I also have fostered and helped many animals, some very tiny and sick, find forever homes. Michel has helped me walk them, rescue them from dangerous homes and deliver them to loving human parents. We are also dedicated to our families, we give our hearts and time to our Godchildren and nieces as much as possible. Wednesday’s are my favorite, I cherish my greeting from my little niece calling out to me, running over as fast as her tiny legs can go saying “huggie, huggie!” Walking into my sister-in- law’s house is another story! There is no calling out or asking, instead 2 little girls are running and jumping up onto my husband as high as they can, one on each arm, or one on his back, the other around his neck, I mean he is their personal jungle gym. The laughter is infectious. I think I fall a little more in love with him each time.
Given the chance to be adoptive parents we will raise him or she knowing how we came to be a family. We will use photo albums created with shared pictures, we will read story books about love and sacrifice, we will build a community of adopted families, and of course by being surrounded by love and family. We want to be able to answer questions as they grow which we will probably need your help with. We will share pictures, art and stories. We believe it is a journey and a process so we are open and excited to see how our story unfolds.
If you are looking for a loving, fun and safe home for your baby, there is nothing we want more than to pour love and care into your child’s life as a member of our family.

I was born in Brooklyn and moved to Staten Island when I was 5 years old, from there to New Jersey at age 11. Since elementary school, at parent teacher conferences I was called a social butterfly and the energizer bunny. That really hasn’t changed. I love spending time with my family and friends laughing, playing board games, enjoying good food and relaxing. Wednesdays I spend with my 15 month old niece who is the equivalent to sunshine. We play in the ball pen, blow lots of bubbles, play with letters, read books and cuddle until my sister gets home. The three of us then enjoy dinner and always bring meatballs home to my hubby. I enjoy listening to educational audio books when driving. Currently I am listening to Parenting from the Inside Out by Daniel J Seigel and MaryHartzell. I love children and love to learn about how I can best help them grow into happy, confident and empathetic adults who will be successful in life and relationships.
I was born in Long Branch, NJ I grew up in and around the local area. As a young kid I was close with my father and definitely got myself into some mischief. My mother loves to tell the story of me waking up in the middle of the night and going outside to play in the snow, wearing only underwear and snow boats. I remember family vacations with my Uncle Jack and running around a cruise ship being a troublemaker to my older sister and cousin. I was good at being the younger brother, still can be at times, but all with love. I played baseball for a short time in school. When I was 9 years old my father died but had already instilled in me a sense of responsibility and independence that helped me grow up fast. I became the man of the house. Growing up we lived with my Nanny and Pop pop with whom I was close to and as a testament to those relationships have a soft spot for older people. I had 5 close friends that I was tight with and other than those guys some might call me an introvert, hence my wife and I being perfect Yin and Yang. Today I take care of my mother, am Godfather to my nieces and take pride in taking care of my family. I am disciplined in my routine and show up when I say I will. My humor may come with some sarcasm at times but always considerate. I respect logic and science. My family and friends are everything to me and I devote much time to enhancing their lives any way I can.

Generally speaking, yes. It is common for the family adopting the child to cover the expenses involved.
Call Adam at 1-800-790-5260, complete health background forms, and talk with a family to decide if they’re the right fit for you and your baby.
No. Birth parents do not get paid, ever. Depending on the circumstances, it may be possible for the biological mother to receive financial assistance towards her living expenses. These funds are not payments. They are funds to provide assistance for food, clothing, shelter, medications, etc. and reported and closely monitored by the Court.
The answer to this question is dependent on the facts of each particular case. There are lots of questions to ask, some are: Are you married? Has the father supported you or the baby? Was the conception the result of a rape? It is important to discuss this with an attorney as quickly as possible.
